I wrote the first Water Me Right when I was still learning how to ask for water.
I wrote the second while I was learning to pour it myself.
The third taught me how to bloom in my own sunlight.

Speak kindly to your petals but protect your thorns.
Love like sunlight —
generous, warm, and fleeting when you need to be.
And when someone calls you difficult, dramatic, or demanding, just smile.
Because they’ve never met a flower that knew how to water herself.
